CLASS DETAILS:
LEARN TO EAT AND BREATHE FIRE - BEGINNERS CLASS GROUP
We always start people off with the fire eating and body burning class before moving on to the bigger more dangerous stunts like fire breathing. Do both classes on this special group day!!
Just 1 day to learn the basics of these skills but as with all circus, it requires practice to become very skilled. You will not be ready to perform after just 1 lesson. Fire artists spend years practising their craft.
This class is suitable for those who want to start that journey with the worlds most renowned fire arts educators.

Frequently asked Questions?
Where are you based?
We are based in the Artcore International warehouse in East Ham, East London. (Closed December and January- open 1 week per month)
Does it hurt? Can It Burn?
NO it shouldn’t hurt, if it does you are doing it incorrectly, or you are working in the wrong conditions.
YES, fire can and does burn if you don't do it properly. It takes a few seconds to do "burn damage" so as long as fire keeps moving you shouldn't get burnt.
Can I come to your classes as a total beginner?
YES, we cater classes for all skill levels. We have a lot of experience with beginners.
Can I teach my friends?
NO, we have a strict policy on not passing the skills on to others. It took us 18 years to build up the experience and knowledge we feel is necessary to be able to teach these skills. 1 lesson with us is not enough knowledge to pass on to others,
Please send anyone you know who is interested in learning back to us.
Is it bad for me/my health?
YES is the short answer, the fuel and soot are carcinogenic, long term exposure to fumes and fuels can affect your health in the long term
Do you supply the equipment?
YES, we supply all the equipment, fuel and safety devices. (You can also purchase equipment from us)
Do you put anything on your skin or in your mouth to stop you from burning?
NO, there are no tricks or cheats, you will be learning skills. Like how to control and manipulate the fire safely.
Can I bring a stag or hen party
Yes, we provide a thrilling experience for groups but they must be over 18 and not have had any alcohol within the last 24 hrs
I have a beard do I need to shave?
No, sort of - beards are fine, you may want to trip the top lip line of a moustache though. do not shave your arms as this will make them sensitive. If you consider yourself to be gorilla hairy then you can remove arm hair at least 48 hrs before the class to allow your skin to calm down.
How many people have you taught? And has anyone ever injured themselves badly? Over 2500 students since 2012 with only 1 casualty - they contracted chemical pneumonia from inhalation of the fuel during a fire breathing class - They recovered and we are still good friends !!
