About this Event

Join us for an exciting discussion about AI Best Practices for Nonprofits. We will be joined by a panel of experts who will be talking about different aspects of AI, including NTEN's framework to evaluate AI tools, AI adoption policy, a progressive AI chatbot and AI for knowledge management. This discussion will be facilitated and moderated by Roshani Kothari, NTEN DMV Tech Club Co-Organizer and Digital Strategist. Special thanks for hosting and sponsoring the event!
Patrick McDermott, Nonprofit Technologist and Strategy Consultant, will provide a skeptic's viewpoint of the claims being made about the transcendent power of AI for nonprofits and discuss how frameworks like NTEN's can be helpful when building or adopting AI tools.
Matthew Eshleman, Community IT Innovator's Chief Technology Officer, will discuss their AI adoption policy and provide an overview of adoption guide, which is targeted at organizations looking at how to use Microsoft’s AI tool.
Craig Johnson, Chief Technical Officer at Change Agent AI & Founder and Managing Partner at Unfiltered.Media and Alan Rosenblatt, Ph.D. Partner at Unfiltered.Media & Advisor at Change Agent AI, will discuss the importance of working with publicly-available "AI" models and how they have harnessed them to create an AI chatbot that communicates the way progressives do, so you don't have to rely on Big Tech with your work and data.
Tony Kopetchny, CEO of PTKO, will discuss AI for knowledge management and talk about how to regain your domain-specific insights that have been lost to the file folder abyss.
