May 21 – State Representative Chip LaMarca & Candidate Night!

Join the Broward Women’s Republican Club on Tuesday, May 21, 2024! We will welcome State Representative Chip LaMarca and also hear from Congressional District 23 candidate Joe Kaufman and other speakers.

We will meet at Stingers, 1201 S. Ocean Blvd, Pompano Beach, 33062. 6:30 Check-in and dining. Meeting begins promptly at 7:00 p.m., come in advance to check in and be seated.

Must RSVP HERE in advance due to space restrictions. No walk-ins.

Our agenda will include the following:

· Organization business

· Special Guest Speaker State Representative Chip LaMarca. Rep. LaMarca will discuss Florida legislation, the upcoming session, and the state of politics along with other topics.

· Special Guest Speaker Joe Kaufman, candidate for Congressional District 23.

· Other Speakers as time permits.

· 50/50 raffle and door prizes.

Florida State Representative Chip LaMarca:

Chip LaMarca is a lifelong resident of Broward County, representing Broward’s coastal communities. He’s earned a reputation for being a citizens’ advocate and respected voice for the taxpayers, veterans, first responders and pets in Florida House District 100. Chip always had a desire to invest his time in public service and in 2005 he was elected to the Lighthouse Point City Commission, and he was re-elected in 2008 without opposition. In 2010 he ran a successful election to unseat the Broward County Mayor and was re-elected in 2014 with overwhelming support of the people in coastal Broward. A passionate servant of the people, LaMarca made the personal sacrifice to leave South Florida in 2018 when he ran an election for the State House of Representatives, keeping the only Broward seat in the majority. He has worked hard for the people of our community every year in Tallahassee, holding the line on spending, cutting taxes and bringing much needed resources back to our community for important projects.

Joe Kaufman, Candidate for Congressional District 23:

Joe Kaufman, an expert in the field of national security, is running for U.S. Congress in Florida’s District 23 to unseat one-term Democrat Jared Moskowitz. Joe is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and his work has led to the closure of terrorist charities and the imprisonment of terror-related individuals. Like our founders, Joe believes in protecting Life, Liberty and Happiness, which includes defending the U.S. border, ending inflation, expanding School Choice, protecting senior benefits, and defending our Second Amendment right to bear arms. Joe has been endorsed by Lieutenant Colonel Allen West, Major General Paul Vallely, Working Mothers for Donald Trump International, Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) National Spokesman Niger Innis, and Citizens for National Security Chairman Dr. Ken Abramowitz.

Other Speakers:

Emmanuel Oramas is a lifelong Floridian, having lived and traveled throughout the entirety of the state. He was born into a Cuban-American family in Miami and grew up in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties. His love for America was instilled by the gratitude of his immigrant grandparents and father who were exiled from communism. Witnessing what extreme leftist ideas and policies have done to his culture has been the keystone of his conservatism and his strong Christian faith. He was hired by Turning Point USA three years ago and proudly serves as the Sunshine High School Field Representative, representing from Port Saint Lucie down to Key West. He has created over 100 chapters, the most in the country.
