May 18th Aults Park Vendor Festival

Aults Park is the home of Abbas Grotto, a local charity that helps special needs children with dentistry. Food trucks may be at these events and Grotto Fresh Grill maybe open open too TBA. We have a fully stocked bar indoors for the adults that may need a refreshment after or even before shopping, with occasional live music we be hosting. Plenty of seating indoors for 180 visitors, and indoor restrooms so your not using a portable like most events you go to. The park has a large outdoor pavilion with tables and seating, plus an outdoor fire pit area. Aults Park Inc is directly next to multiple major senior living facilities and ICC, so we are advertising these events to the residents in hopes of shuttles bringing folks to the events.

Outdoor larger than 10X20 $85 to $125

Indoor 6 foot table $75 / 8 foot $90

Food Trucks $75 per space unless waved by discretion of the Host

LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE:

In consideration of the above-listed vendor’s participation in the Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival or Abbas Grotto, the vendor HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVES AND RELEASES any and all actions, causes of action, suits, demands, and claims of any nature, whether in law or equity, that arise or may arise in any manner against the Aults Park inc or Abbas Grotto, its agents, public officers, officials or employees and authorized volunteers from or by the vendor and any of its employees, agents, or volunteers, related to, resulting from, or associated with the vendor’s participation in the Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival, Aults Park Car Cruise In / Bike Night, Any named events.

INDEMNIFICATION / HOLD HARMLESS:

The vendor HEREBY FURTHER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Aults Park inc or Abbas Grotto, its agents, public officials, officers, employees and authorized volunteers, from and against any and all actions, claims, damages, losses or expenses, including any attorney fees, legal expenses, and court costs, that directly or indirectly arise out of the vendor’s participation in Aults Park Inc events or the vendor’s activities or operations associated with the Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, disease or death, or damage to or destruction of property. Vendor has read and agrees to comply with Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival Sales Rules & Regulations we are not responsible for weather, act of GOD, loss of sales, loss of goods, loss of venue space, etc. Vendor understands that the Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival staff, may deny participation. Vendors agrees that images taken during the Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival may be used for future advertising, publication, social media etc. Prices and fees could change in the future and are non-refundable. If Aults Park Inc is forced to act against a vendor in the court of law, the vendor will be responsible for all court fees and attorney fees if vendor is found guilty of wrongdoing.

Vendors and Food Trucks

• All vendors will submit an application, Release and Indemnification, proof of liability and vehicle insurance, all required state/county/local license or permits and appropriate payments.

• Applications without required documentation and $40/$60/$75/$90/$xxx.** fee will not be accepted.

• Products may not be sold out of the back / trunk of a vehicle and no tarps on grass (this will K*ll the grass). Must be a 10X10 tent or Certified Food Truck/Trailer.

• Cottage food operations will meet all requirements of Cottage Food Act and have up to date appropriate licenses/permits.

• Maintain safe, clean conditions in and around sales area, no abusive/foul language, loud stereo use prohibited

• Practice courteous interaction with customers, other vendors, market staff, local business personnel, etc.

• It is the responsibility of the vendor to determine forms of payment. The Aults Park Inc Vendor Festival is not responsible for EBT or receipt of payment offered by the State of Illinois Department of Human Services/Food & Nutrition Programs

• Maintain clear access for pedestrian traffic. Power cords, props, display cartons, tables, tent stakes, tent ropes, etc. must be in good condition and not prohibit safe movement by patrons, vendors and staff.

Vendor SET-UP and TAKE DOWN GUIDELINES:

• Festivals and Flee Markets: Set up 7am to 930am day of sale.
• Take-down may begin at 3:00p.m., not before please. Exceptions may be made in emergency situations or for drastic weather conditions at the discretion of the Host.
• Car Cruise In functions setup 3pm and take down is 8pm or discretion of the Host.

• Vendor spaces are for a 10’ x 10’ and up Tent or Food Truck / Trailer as placed by the host Aults Park Inc.

• Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tent weights, tables, chairs, power cords, scales, bags, etc. A tent or canopy is recommended and must be properly anchored with weights. No Stakes allowed on parking lot.

• Items brought to the market must all be removed, including trash that is generated and cannot be left on site, bag it up and take it with you please. You will be billed a $200 Fee for garbage or items left after the event.

• Vendors are fully responsible for their property if vendor chooses to leave tent overnight at the vendor site. The Aults Park Inc is not responsible for loss if left overnight or unattended

• Vendors who complete the registration process with all documentation and fees will be given

preferential placement opportunities.

• Vendor Vehicles cannot be parked on the set-up area and should be parked on gravel parking lot behind the guard rail.

10X10 Tent spaces are on very nicely groomed grass, the Tents with AC will be up by the pavilion area on grass where we have the outlets. Indoor spots (very limited) will be in the banquet room and dance floor area adjacent to the Bar.

Anyone setting up will have to sign this agreement above waiver before setting up and agrees to all rules and regulations. Subject to change all fees are non refundable

As long as we have room we take the day of registrations also, we have a massive park so I cannot see us running out of room in the future.
