Max’s House is a musical puppet show about reconnecting with the things that bring us joy (in this case, singing and dancing) and returning to the child-like curiosity we once had before making it a part of our career.
Max’s House begins with Max breaking up with his Singing and Dancing, resigned to just never see them again. But when they're mysteriously kidnapped, he must dust off his singing voice and dancing shoes, follow the clues, and figure out who kidnapped them before they’re lost forever. Along the way, he gets some help from other residents of Max’s House such as a Rhino, a List named Listy, Polenelope the Pole Dancing Pole, and many more.
Young Adult Content – Suitable for teens and families, may contain some adult language and adult themes.

About the Playwright:
Max Berry is a playwright and screenwriter based in New York City who strives to write plays that are unapologetically silly and radically kind. Born right here in central Ohio, he made his stage debut as Roger in 101 Dalmatians in 2010 at the Weathervane Children’s Theatre. In 2017, he had his first play ever, Thorns, produced just down the road at OSUN. Since then, Max has gone on to study playwriting at Marymount Manhattan College where he studied under playwright and one half of the “All I Wanna Do is Talk About Madonna” podcast, Kenny Finkle. During college, Max was involved in many productions as both playwright and producer. Since college he has continued producing his own work as well as serving as the Creative Producer for First Kiss Theatre Company where he leads the FebLab artist program and co-produces readings for playwrights such as Rachel Greene and Cristiane Swenson.
