Maximo Park is at the northern end of the approach to the Sunshine Skyway bridge. Take the LAST exit before the bridge. Launching is free and parking allowed for at least 24 hrs. I've had no problem leaving my car/trailer there 2 days before. You can not camp at the park, but there is a sand beach we can land on to use bathroom, picnice shelter, etc. We will choose destinations and anchorages in the area (Ft DeSoto, Egmont Key, etc) for overnighting based on wind. Plan to sleep on your boat.
