We are back for a 4th year, continuing in our efforts of fundraising for Basildon Mind Charity, utilising the “Max Out For Mind” platform we created to bring people together as a community. The platform engages the community by offering a super encouraging and positive environment for everyone to have an attempt at lifting weight in an overhead lift (log or axle) and a deadlift variation (3 bar options this year), or just one if you prefer.
Experience/strength levels are not what is important. It is about uniting under collective strength, and pushing our boundaries with support from like minded people to achieve personal benchmarks.
As per each year, your entry payment secures you a Max Out For Mind t-shirt, and we will also award participation medals as a memento for your involvement. All surpluses will be donated to Basildon Mind.
As it is not a competition, but a fund raising event, there are no podiums etc, but a trophy will be awarded to Best Male Lifter, and Best Female Lifter. These are both based on weight lifted, but will be decided amongst the Events Team based on a number of factors such as community effort/involvement, pushing of boundaries, and other factors surrounding the meaning and true spirit of the event.
CHOICE OF LIFTS:
•Overhead:
-Log 10” Mirafit: minimum weight is 30kg
-Log 13” StrengthShop: minimum weight is 52.5kg
-Log 13” Celtic Strength: minimum weight is 72.5kg
-Wooden Log 13”: minimum weight is 80kg (important note if looking to use the wooden log - your bit buckle must be reversed if choosing this log, in order to minimise the chance of damage to the log)
•Deadlift:
-Power Bar (Texas)
-Deadlift Bar (Texas)
-Kratos Bar (Cerberus)
When registering, please confirm which lifts you wish to partake in, and what implements. Along with your t-shirt size. Example:
