“Where did the music begin? I inherited a guitar from my Grandfather when I was 19 years old. My older brother taught me some chords and the rest is history. Music has wrapped me up like an encouraging hug. It has brought me to the staggering tops of mountains and to the comfort of the warm ocean. Through the hardest times in my life, it carried me like a wise mage, reminding me character and creativity was mine alone. It was also there to escalate me to glorious heights, and build unbreakable bonds with friends that I will have until I pass. I owe a lot to music, and so grateful for it in my life.” - Max
In January 2025 Max will release his brand new full length album, "Eyes on the Road". These 10 original songs have the power to uplift you, move your body, and garner hope in the future of meaningful songwriting and the human spirit.
Max is also found playing Solo with his trusty Martin guitar ‘Grace’. “Solo shows are an opportunity to strip down sonically and play this music differently,” says Max. “I get to explore my voice, and allow vulnerability that comes from a ‘nowhere to hide’ space.” Max’s solo shows are intimate and expressive and make for a great time.
