MAX HOBBS is an acoustic guitarist who merges cutting edge virtuoso technique with powerful and emotive lyricism. First picking up the guitar at 11 years old, he soon became exposed to the blossoming online guitar scene of the 2010s. As inspired by folk as he was by funk, Max would eventually incorporate his unique tapestry of influences to create a truly original and genre-defying guitar style that has been praised by Jon Gomm, Rob Scallon and Kaki King.
In 2021, a string of viral videos would propel him to prominence on TikTok, after which he would go on to release his own album. Since then, he has continued to go from strength to strength, with his videos having been viewed over 50 million times.
