Educational visit to Selmunet island, commonly known as St. Paul's Islands. It is a unique and ecologically important island of the archipelago. Our professional guides, Arnold and Jeffrey Sciberras will give information about the several species quite unique or rare to the site and was home to the now-extinct Selmunett wall lizard population. Well known for its diversity of arthropods and is one of the islets that boasts the most flora. Several studies have been done on the fauna and flora of this island. This island also holds cultural significance because it is attached to the story of the shipwreck of St. Paul to our islands. Once an agricultural site now it is a pristine nature preserve that should be conserved for future generations. Departure from Xemxija.
