Mauri Flow — Winter Solstice Edition
Sunday 21 June | 2–5pm

As we arrive at the longest night of the year, we gather in ritual, movement, and community to honour the turning of the season.
Join Marōtini and Lili Eve for a special Winter Solstice edition of Mauri Flow - an immersive afternoon of ceremonial cacao, somatic dance, sound healing, and shared connection.
Together we will enter a tapu (sacred) space through tikanga (protocol), softening out of the busyness of the outer world and into the wisdom of the body, the heart, and the spirit.
Guided by Marōtini, cacao maestro, we begin with a ceremonial cacao activation and meditation, honouring cacao as a plant medicine of connection, remembrance, and heart-opening presence. Allow its mauri-rich, wairua-potent essence to awaken and move through you.
From here, Lili Eve will guide an embodied somatic dance journey, an invitation to move intuitively, release what no longer serves, and reconnect to your inner rhythm through deep bass, textured soundscapes, and freeform expression.
As the dance settles, we will be gently guided into stillness with an immersive sound bath, allowing the nervous system to soften, integrate, and restore beneath the energy of the solstice.
To close, we invite you to stay and share in simple kai and connection. Please bring a small plate of finger food to contribute to our community table.
This is a space to gather.
To move.
To release.
To remember.
To honour the dark, the returning light, and the turning within.
No dance experience needed — only a willingness to arrive as you are.

Held in The Dome, a beautiful private temple surrounded by lush forest we will create sacred space to deepen into a cacao activation before flowing into a somatic ecstatic dance.
Note the location will be sent out to you upon booking. You will need transport to attend as it is 30 minutes north of Dunedin, we can organise carpooling if required.

What to bring:
* Dress comfortably for full expression of movement.
* Water bottle
* Kai to share
Ticket sales close 6 hours before the event starts so we can prepare cacao for you.
