As we draw closer to the crucifixion, we gather for an evening service on which we reflect on Jesus’ Last Supper, receive communion and enter a space of somber, quiet reflection as the passion narrative is read. During this final portion of the service, there will be a gradual extinguishing of light in the room, after which participants will be invited to depart in silence.
