Have you ever attended a service that never ends? Well, if you've attended Maundy Thursday at any point, you've been a part of a service that is (about) three days long (take notice that there's no blessing after the Eucharist...that doesn't happen until Easter morning!)! An old tradition in the Church, Maundy Thursday begins the final descent into the tomb started on Ash Wednesday. On Ash Wednesday you are reminded that death is coming, Maundy Thursday let's you know you are coming face to face with in on Good Friday. Lent has been leading you to the tomb each and every week.
Come join us and participate in a real way some of the final moments of Jesus's life with his disciples. After service we will strip the table. All are welcome.
