We are participating in 2 Day of the Dead parades this year. The first one is in KCK on Saturday, November 1st. This one (The Mattie Rhodes Day of the Dead Calaca Parade is the one we participated in last year) is on Friday, November 7th on the Missouri side. The parade starts at 6pm. There is a festival afterwards that you won't want to miss! Come join your KC Sling Friends in this beautiful parade. This is my favorite parade that we have ever done. What better place to show off your slingshot than in a night time parade. This parade will have many amazing cars and beautiful people celebrating, honoring and remembering their loves ones who have passed. Whether you have a personal reason or just want to support our group and have a nice time... join us. Invite all your slingshot or 3 wheel friends even if they are not on this page. With us, they are welcome to join in any event we participate in.
We will post the meeting spot as it gets a little closer but I just want to be sure we get this on everyone's calendar. The season is winding down but it's not over yet! Dress your sling up, dress yourself up or just come join in the fun!
