Matt Savage Quartet

Greg Loughman - bass
Zak King - drums
Pianist Matt Savage makes his Monkfish debut as a leader with this very special quartet show. Matt has led this quartet for the last five years, and his latest album, The Whole Package! (2023), features this particular band. The band is a mix of Berklee faculty and Berklee/NEC alumni.
The concert will showcase predominantly original compositions, plus standards from various eras, and perhaps a surprise jazzy pop cover or two. Even though Matt Savage has performed professionally since childhood, he considers this project to be his most ambitious and versatile endeavor yet.
