Eager to chase his dreams, Matt wasted no time after graduating from high school in 2004. In a bold move, he packed his bags and made the pilgrimage to Nashville, Tennessee. Within three weeks of his arrival, he was already making a name for himself as a sought-after session musician and gracing live stages with his music.
In 2006, the world was introduced to Matt Mason through the hit show, Nashville Star, where he showcased his incredible talents and finished fourth. However, this period in his life was marked by a struggle with alcohol and drug addiction, which he courageously overcame. Matt's resilience and determination eventually led him to the crowning moment of his career when he emerged as the winner of CMT's Next Superstar in 2011.
Following his victory on Next Superstar, Matt Mason signed with Warner Records, a momentous milestone in his career. While anticipating the creation and release of a major-label album, he continued to tour and share his passion for music with fans.
