About this Event
The Matt Keller Band returns to Keene for another night at Nova Arts! The band has been playing locally for a few years, dispersing around the country for college and reconvening during breaks for the groovy jams that draw in their crowd. Matt Keller just released his 4th album "Shelves" and will be debuting some of the tunes with the band at Nova Arts. The funky 4 piece consists of Kieran Barnard bumping the bass, Alex Royce punching the keys, Quinn Wilson smacking the drums, and Matt Keller ripping the guitar as well as the main vocals. Every setlist of each show is completely different, along with their improvisational jams bringing each song to a new place every gig! This band isn't usually in town, so don't miss this one of a kind performance! See ya at the party!
JJ Slater has spent the past few years traveling the countryside, playing shows in some of America's biggest cities and most remote ghost towns. His guitar playing draws from blues, jazz, country and psychedelic excursions of yesteryear, yet stays rooted in melodicism and always serving the song. His newest record "The Silver Key" was written in Taos, NM and features folk storytelling, funk grooves, and live interplay with his band, featuring Dan Bisson on bass and Kevin Mason on drums.
Doors are at 7pm and music will start at 730! All ages! Seating is limited and first come first served.
