Matt Keen is a rock and blues musician and band from Chicago, IL. He has been honing his eclectic style for years while playing with his self-titled band or working around the country as a solo artist.
Matt Keen brings unparalleled honesty and grit to his every performance guaranteeing the effort for one or a thousand people. As he begins to gain notoriety around the Midwest and cities he has visited all over the country, this one-of-a-kind performer brings a renewed passion to live and original music.
His debut solo album 'Restless Days' - released in April of 2020 is an 8 track southern rock renaissance with nods to early Skynyrd and Allman Brothers Band. Hints of John Mayer and Santana-style songwriting throughout 'Restless Days' are a confident step forward in a new chapter of Keen's career. Working with artists like Samantha Fish, Jimmie Vaughan, Eric Johanson, Tesla, and Eric Gales recently has spurred a major creative writing stint for this unique musician.
Keen's sophomore EP “Half Man…Half Monster” released in September of 2024 is another showing of his songwriting prowess and desire to keep growing as an artist. The album is steeped in authentic blues and rock & soul, with honest and relatable songwriting. It's a confident step forward in another exciting chapter of Keens career.
