Matt’s voice has been heard in festivals in the United Kingdom and the United States; in venues small and large across Australia and New Zealand; on radio and playlists, and supporting artists such as Chris Isaak and Justin Townes Earle. And every time, he wins new fans, drawn to his amazing vocal tone and his way of bringing the listener closer, telling them stories they will carry with them.
Few artists have that combination of indelible songwriting and an extraordinary voice, along with the commitment to create better art each time and bring it to the audience so they have a transformative live experience. Matt Joe Gow is one of those few. Having recently stepped back from the stage to focus on writing his new album whilst producing other artists, Matt’s upcoming Summer 2026 shows mark a unique and special opportunity to reconnect and see him perform live once again in his home town where it all started.
Matt will be performing also with his trio; Double bass player and local legend player Bevan Gardiner along with Golden Guitar Winner Melissa Partridge, who will also open the night solo acoustic.
