Guest Artist Recital – Matt Hightower Tuba and EuphoniumWestern Kentucky University is pleased to welcome Matt Hightower, Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Florida State University, for a Guest Artist Recital on January 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the FAC Recital Hall. This recital will feature a diverse and engaging program highlighting works by Joseph Turrin, Darius Milhaud, and Nadia Boulanger, as well as original compositions by Hightower himself. The event is free and open to the public, presented by Western Kentucky University. The recital will also be followed by a brief masterclass featuring Dr. Hightower and students in the WKU Tuba/Euphonium Studio.
