Matt Hartle (China Cats, Painted Mandolin) and Friends featuring Mookie Siegel (David Nelson Band, Ratdog, Phil and Friends) brings Bay area jamband music at its finest. They take music from New Orleans, funk, jazz, R&B, psychedelic rock, Appalachia, Grateful Dead, and original compositions and use them as vehicles for high-energy, psychedelic explorations. Buckle up for a group improv dance party of epic proportions!
Matt Hartle is a guitar samurai who has blown away Crazy Horse audiences countless times with both China Cats and Band Beyond Description. His intricate command of his instrument and seemingly effortless ability to manipulate energy is otherworldly. We are ecstatic to have the legendary keyboardist, Mookie Siegel, finally making his Crazy Horse debut. His contributions to the David Nelson Band and so many others have endeared him to fans far and wide for many decades. The band is rounded out with an ultra-tasteful and ferocious rhythm section featuring Murph Murphy (Stu Allen, New Monsoon) on bass and Danny Luehring (San Geronimo) on drums.
