What happens when the group you’ve devoted your life to turns its back on you? That’s the story at the heart of this one-person play. Born from a 20-minute monologue that was first performed at Fringe TheatreFest in 2023, the show has grown into a full-length story of complicity, charisma, and the human desire to belong. Our protagonist is a faithful follower who suddenly finds themselves cast out—persona non grata in the very group they devoted their life to. Alone on stage, they wrestle with questions that don’t have easy answers: betrayal? a test? or just a cruel mistake?
Through confessions, biting humour, and moments of raw honesty, the play explores how someone rebuilds themselves when their entire world has shut them out.
It’s intimate, sharp, and sometimes shocking, but always human. You’ll laugh. You’ll cringe. You’ll wonder how far someone can go to belong...
