Matt Carbonello was born in Beverly, Massachusetts. After moving to the Nutfield New Hampshire area, Matt got his kicks writing rock 'n roll music. His guitar playing is inspired by Robby Kriegar, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan among others. Vocally he is unique in that he tries to establish his own voice. Jim Morrison, Bob Dylan, and Elvis have also influenced his music. Carbonello uses a range of styles, keys, and genres while maintaining a soulful, grassroots tone.Matt sees a world conflicted and hopes to use his music to raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project. He wants to use music as a tool not only to entertain, but also to raise awareness about the struggles of veterans who suffer from physical and mental trauma. Matt has seen too many suffer with these issues without public resources to address them. He hopes to raise money for The Wounded Warrior Project with proceeds from the sales of tickets at his concerts, cd's, food and other items at his live performances.
With hope, we may learn to appreciate the sun and live through the night.
