Weswal Gallery is honoured to present ‘Matriarchive’. For this show we reach back into the rich archives of two outstanding artists, mother and daughter Jean Isherwood OAM (1911-2006) and Jacqueline Dabron. In the Main Gallery Jacqueline will be showing a series of vivid, expressive landscape paintings spanning the New England and Port Macquarie areas. The Stockroom Gallery will feature a selection of the late Jean Isherwoods watercolours, based upon her time spent in Palm Beach during the 1970's
‘Matriarchive’ presents the rare opportunity to view and acquire works from the archives of these two significant Australian painters.
