<h4>What To Expect</h4>
It's a Matinée event, so you can expect to have a wild night that ends at 10pm surrounded by a beautiful crowd of seasoned aka Millennial(ish) party people.
We're happy to be returning to The Club by Mr. Purple, which is a new space on the 14th floor of Hotel Indigo Lower East Side. For those who haven't been, it's light-laden disco with west-facing skyline windows so we can countdown until sunset. Take a video tour here.
Matinée is all about the groove. While the sounds will change based on the collaboration, the recipe will likely always include disco, funk, house, diva singalongs, and songs that overwhelm you with love.
Beyond DJs, we'll also be joined by an Atlantic City disco singer and NYC street performers amongst other guest performances.
Also, we'll serve pizza per usual.
Per usual, vibes encouraged. Nothing too strict, but no shorts or gymwear.

About Matinée
Love to party, but also love a good night’s rest? (Looking at you millennials 👀)
With Matinée, you can have both.
It’s a “night time” dance party that lets you have a wild night out…and be home by 11pm.
The party starts at 5pm, peaks at 8, over at 10.

Hosted by a few of NYC’s funkiest disco & house DJs, Matinée has been selling out one of New York’s most beloved discos with sets that past Matineers have called “an undeniable feel good sound” and “the best night of my life”.

Nightlife pretty much only caters to 20 somethings. Matinée wants to change that.
We’re working to create a space where our fellow Millennials and beyond can step away from adult responsibilities and let loose for a while – creating memories with old friends and hopefully make some new ones.
