Join us at Soldiers Memorial for a viewing of "The Six Triple Eight." A true story that’s been adapted for the big screen, this movie highlights the 6888th Central Postal Battalion, the first all-Black, all-female unit deployed overseas during World War II. They were tasked with sorting through a massive backlog of undelivered mail and played a critical role in maintaining morale among US troops and their families back home. This event is open to the public, registration is required, and all guests will receive free popcorn and a beverage. MHS members will receive a deluxe snack pack with a large popcorn and candy.
