ABOUT
Join us for an evening of maths music in the style of MathsJamJam - a singalong of well-known songs that have been rewritten to be about maths - interspersed with performances of original maths songs.
Singalong songs will be taken from the MathsJamJam Song Book 2016-2023. When you register, you'll have an opportunity to tell us if there are any songs you'd particularly like to hear. We can't guarantee to include all of them but we'll try to include the most popular ones.
JOINING IN
You're welcome to just come along and listen. But you can join in in any or all of these ways:
- tell us when you register if you have an original song you'd like to perform - we'll fit in as many as we can
- bring your own guitar/ukulele/grand piano*/triangle/whatever and play along - we'll provide chord sheets for all the songs
- sing with us - we'll display lyrics on the night, and also provide them digitally.
EVENT INFO
The event will take place at MathsCity in Leeds. This is located on the first floor of the Trinity Shopping Centre. Find travel and parking info here. Detailed information on how to find MathsCity will be sent out prior to the event.
You can bring your own drinks (alcholic or otherwise). You can also get drinks from the Trinity Kitchen bar and bring them in, but note that the bar closes at 9pm.
*Please don't bring a grand piano. We won't have space for it.
