About this Event
This is an initiative designed to be a resource for District mothers and families to stay abreast of services and current health trends that promote wellness for both mom and baby.
This live segment will give DC Moms tips, District resources and information on having a healthy relationship with not just their babies, but with themselves also. This edition will focus on “Mommy Love” and self-care practices for future moms, mothers and the mom tribe. The event will feature a special presentation from March of Dimes and feature the Mama & Baby Mobile Health Center.
We will open with a breathing and mindfulness exercise led by Doula and Yogi, Kahlil Kuykendall, followed by a “Mommy Love” panel discussion, featuring mental health, wellness, and self-care professionals. The event will include food, networking vendors and more.
