Speaker Claire Regnault is Curator at Te Papa and Author of Dressed: Fashionable Dress in Aotearoa New Zealand 1840 to 1910 (Te Papa Press 2021).
This event is a celebration of the 15-year anniversary of Fabric-a-brac - a fabric and sewing market that raises money for local Hospice. Now in ten locations around New Zealand, the event has raised $170,000 for Hospice to date. All proceeds from this event will go to Hospice New Zealand.
A delicious high tea will be served. Come along with some friends and make it a morning out!
NOTE - this is a one-off event, and does not replace the Wellington Fabric-a-brac sewing market. This will be held in the same venue (St Anne's Hall) on Saturday 28 September 2024 10am-1pm. (https://www.facebook.com/events/1996237104106369)
