The MATERA SPORT FILM FESTIVAL, aims at spreading the knowledge and diffusion of sport works that, in different languages and different production forms, contribute to the development of the artistic and cultural tendencies. The aims of this event are: promoting the quality of sports works; encouraging producers to broadcast the sport values; bringing about the meeting and co-operation of those who work creatively in sport broadcasting; spreading the study, discussion and knowledge of creative and cultural issues related to these media.
