Registration Opens: Sat Oct 26 @ noonLimited to 40 players, $40 entry (plus $15 door fee, free for members), 12 rounds of matchplay, top 16 make playoffs, 5-3-2-1 scoring, $1500 in cash and prizes.
Each round will play two games per group, one long and one short-playing game, hence the "mix'em" part of the title.
Top seed select game banks AND order. Ties are broken by pre-determined fast-playing games. Top 2 move on per round.
Payouts as follows:
1st-350, 2nd-250, 3rd-150, 4th-100, 5-8th-50, 9-16th-40
Those who do not make the playoffs are automatically entered into a 1-strike tournament that begins immediately following regulation. This non IFPA-sanctioned event also has a trophy for the winner and a cash prize for the final group! ($120 split x-ways).
