Cycle with us on a journey along the Cycle Trail, under the stars of Matariki.Hikoi with us to the tunnel between Kaikohe and Ōkaihau and return to the Quarry (600m from the access point on SH12, Kaikohe).
Once we are all settled in, the students of Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Kaikohekohe will kōrero about the significance of Matariki in Te Ao Māori.
We will end our ride at Pioneer Village, 1A Recreation Road, Kaikohe where we will enjoy a sausage sizzle and hot drink together before heading home.

6.00pm: Matariki presentation by Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Kaikohekohe
6.45pm: Sausage sizzle and hot drink back at Pioneer Village
7.30pm: End of event

Bike, helmet, water bottle, warm clothing, rain jacket, suitable footwear, headlamp or torch
