Pilates is a low-impact exercise program that uses precise movements, controlled breathing, and muscle engagement to improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and balance.Body Karma Studio’s Mat Pilates training is designed to teach you how to create a safe and effective Mat Pilates class for anyone. During the training you will learn the basic fundamentals of teaching Pilates, the breathing technique, basic anatomy, common exercises, sequencing, and modifications. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a session with your peers in the classroom setting to gain confidence in cueing, public speaking, and classroom management with feedback from experienced instructors.
