This may sound familiar as the foundation of Yoga is also focused on the mind, body and spirit - the truth is that Yoga and Pilates have many similarities. Just as a regular Yoga practice can transform your life, so can Pilates. A regular Pilates practice can improve your overall physical and mental health while increasing core strength, improving posture, and enhancing flexibility. As with yoga, the breath is an energy source and precise movements and mental focus facilitate stretching, strengthening and alignment of the entire body. Pilates can be done by anyone and is a great addition to a well-rounded health and fitness plan.
