This is the SECOND session of the series!The Masters Series will cover in-depth information on the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and other Martial Sciences that can be implemented to any martial arts system.
In each session, a meridian of the body or a key fundamental theory will be thoroughly examined. By locating and understanding how these work and affect the body, techniques can become more effective and easier to apply to an opponent. Learning and understanding the meridians and fundamentals will offer a new perspective into your own martial art movements and will make your techniques more efficient for applications, in both real-life and bunkai.
These sessions will have multiple aspects to them:
> Part presentation to learn about the topic
> Part exploratory to locate meridians & points on a body
> Part drill work using martial application on topic discussed
The Master Series course will take place over the span of a few years in order to cover all of the meridians and fundamentals. It is most beneficial if you are able to attend all of the sessions, but each individual session will still be informative and useful.
Black belt rank is highly and strongly recommended.
Any rank below Brown Belt will be denied access.
Registration is $50 per session. Preregistration is available online at https://events.dragonsociety.com/. Only cash or money order payment at the door will also be available.
There will be an hour break in the middle for lunch, from 12pm - 1pm. Lunch will not be provided by the hosts. There will also be a short Q & A at the end of the session to help wrap up any lingering questions or concerns.
