Format: Teams of 3–4 players compete in a race to 7, with 8 games of 9-ball and 5 games of 8-ball. Rules: Follows the rules and format of the U.S. Amateur Championship. Players earn one point for each game won, and teams can earn up to 21 points per night.
No skill level limit: There are no skill level limits or coaching allowed.
Jump cues: Jump cues are allowed.
Push out: A push out is allowed after the break during 9-ball games.
Advancement: Winners from the APA Masters divisions advance to the annual APA Masters Championship in Las Vegas.
