Ready to stop waiting and start playing? Join this 4-week class and acquire the skills needed to confidently lead your own tabletop role-playing games. In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, you’ll gain insights and tips from professional Game Masters over twelve total hours of immersive instruction.
Learn to run four different TTRPGs, including D&D 5e, and transform your gaming experience. Sign up now and become the Game Master you’ve always wanted to be!
When: 6-9 pm on Mondays in August. (8/5/24, 8/12/24, 8/19/24, 8/26/24)
Where: Druid Dice - 2010 Main St. Kansas City, Missouri 64108
What: Each 3-hour class will include:
- A lesson/lecture discussing a different aspect of being a Game Master
- A "hands-on" playing period in which participants split into groups and everyone will practice running the table for each other with a new game each week.
- A Q&A segment to wrap up each session
How: Justin from Tipsy Bard KC will lead the class in a safe-to-learn, judgement-free environment. No prior experience is needed. All materials will be provided, including handouts for each game that particpants may keep for future use.
Why: Because the world (and specifically KC) needs more good GMs!
Things to Keep in Mind:
- This single ticket reserves your spot at all 4 classes on 8/5, 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26.
- It is ideal that you attend all 4 classes but if you have to miss one, please let Justin know as early as possible. You can email him directly at [email protected].
- On-street parking is free and available during class.
- Try to eat meals prior to arriving so as not to distract the group. If you need to make an exception to this, please email Justin at [email protected].
- Non-alcoholic drinks and/or light snacks are welcome but steer clear of allergens, if possible. (We will be in close proximity around the tables.)
