Join us and dive into the complexities of oil painting to refine your skills. Led by Artspace’s first HBCU Resident Jalen Jackson, this three hour workshop is designed for intermediate oil painters looking to improve their representation of skin tones in their artwork. Working with a live model, participants will get hands-on exposure and direction on the nuances of mixing colors to match desired skin tones. A fully fleshed out figurative painting will not be the final product. Rather, participants will leave with the technical know-how for achieving realistic skin tones and the confidence to explore it further beyond our workshop.
