Have you ever fancied having a portrait of yourself or someone super special? If you love my style of painting gals and guys…then this workshop just might be for you.
You can bring a few mates and share some quality fun times, or come on your own and meet some new ‘art-buddies’.
My favourite subject to draw is women. They have unlimited design possibilities and I’d LOVE to share my tips and method with you.
In this workshop you’ll learn how I get a good likeness down onto the canvas while not getting too caught up in the absolute detail so keeping it light and whimsical. I’ll encourage you to add little bits of your own style and ideas to this piece.
At the end of the workshop your painting will be unique to you and while it will have an SP quirkiness, it will also have a bit of your own style.
I’ll get you to email me a good photo of yourself so I can have everything prepared and we can dive right in as soon as you arrive. Once you sign up, I’ll send you info on what I need.
Don’t be nervous or shy…I promise to make the process comfortable and enjoyable and we’ll have a great day getting to know each other.
If you have a bit of arty party in you, that would be helpful but if your a beginner, brave and up for it…I will help you.
We don’t have to rush and you can contact me after the workshop if you need a little more help.
I promise you that we’ll have fun and learn without getting too precious.
FULL DAY WORKSHOP
• 10AM - 4PM
• All materials will be supplied but if you do have your own brushes, please bring them with you.
• If you have a favourite table top easel and board, please also bring that with you.
• If you have a drawing lamp to provide more light, please bring that.
