About this Event
This class is designed to help participants learn how to hear the different parts of harmony and be able to sing the tenor, baritone (and bass), and melody of a song. Students are welcome to bring songs, in any format, that they would like to be able to sing along in our group. This class is for all levels.
Ages 12+
Classes will be held in our studio at 16 W. Beverley St., Second Floor in studio C
Lorie Lichtenwalner is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and bass player. She has been playing music since she was a teen. She grew up in Nazareth, PA with parents who participated in the 1960s folk scare and encouraged the kids to sing at the table. Lorie is a member of the Grammy-nominated band Troublesome Creek and still attends every fiddler's convention and traditional music festival she can. She often sits in on bass or guitar with other local musicians. Lorie is a nurse and resides in Augusta County when she's not playing music. She is the mother of three musical daughters, Molly & Sally Murphy, and Lizzie Cahalin.
