Mass in the Grass and the Blessing of the Animals

In honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, we will have Mass in the Grass with the Blessing of the Animals at 9:15 am on Sunday, October 5th, on the front lawn of the church. Please bring a folding chair or something comfortable to sit on during the service. The service will be a Liturgy for the Care of Creation with Holy Eucharist and the Blessing of the Animals. Father Eric will bless all creatures, great and small! **Please make sure your pet is on a leash or in a carrier.
Refreshments will be available after the service (for both our furry and non-furry friends). We also invite you to bring a PET FOOD donation of canned or bagged food, which will later be donated to a nearby animal shelter. We hope to see you there!
