About this Event
Video games, though often blamed for violence and apathy, offer many benefits to consumers: they can enhance teamwork, communication, critical thinking skills, and more. How might these benefits be utilized in conflict resolution and interpersonal interactions? Might video games offer a bridge between generations and a path toward peacebuilding and mutual understanding?
In this hourlong special event, Nick Villareal will present current topics and potential fields of further study related to video gaming and its application to conflict resolution practices, as well as contact-based peacebuilding theory.
Light refreshments will be served.
