McGUIRES HOTEL PRESENTS OUR NEXT EDM EVENT on Saturday 11th of October with MASHD N KUTCHER!Mashd N Kutcher (aka MNK) are an Australian dance music project and electronic band, touring and performing over 1500 live shows to date across Australia, Asia, India, Europe & the United States. Created by songwriter Matt James in 2012 the project has seen success with multiple platinum records, a Triple J Hottest100 placement at #12 plus regular coverage on media outlets both in Australia & abroad.
Signing with Universal Music Group in 2017 plus a global deal with publishing group BMG, Mashd N Kutcher is a regular name within mainstream media and online pop culture with an audience of over 2 million on social networks, as well as collaborating with and featuring alongside top tier talent including world champion athletes, popular media personalities, entertainers, globally recognised brands, products and services.
In the past 18 months the band has delivered memorable shows at festivals and venues across Australia, as well as bespoke live performances for Coles, Intel, Carnival of Flowers to crowds of over 50,000 at some of the country’s most prestigious sites such as Rod Laver Arena, The MCG, and Commbank Stadium.
In 2024 project founder Matt James established an ongoing fundraising component for the band, with all Artist Streaming Royalties for the song ‘It’s Alright’ going to Myeloma Australia in perpetuity Mashd N Kutcher is committed to being closely connected with Cancer Support, Research and Awareness.
