Masami Kawaguchi's NEW ROCK SYNDICATE only Melbourne headline show!Masami Kawaguchi is one of the finest psych rock guitarists to emerge from Japan this century. As well as being a solo performer and playing in bands with members of Les Rallizes Denudes and Acid Mothers Temple, Masami has established his own band, New Rock Syndicate. Masami has a strong Australian connection also having recorded with Radio Birdman's Deniz Tek, Penny Ikinger and The Scientists' Kim Salmon.
New Rock Syndicate has released 8 albums via European, US, Australian, New Zealand and Japanese labels. This Autumn they tour Australia with a rhythm section made up of Rocket Science's Dave Gray and Fraudband's Don Drum - the lineup that has recorded the most recent New Rock Syndicate releases.
