Welcome to Maryland Plant Fest!

Maryland Plant Fest returns Memorial Day Weekend, hosted by Plants Alive at our HQ: 15710 Layhill Road, Silver Spring, MD. Join us daily from 10 AM to 4 PM for three days of plants, makers, food, and community.

Saturday, May 24: Specialty plant vendors kick things off and will be set up all weekend long, including the world-renowned Ecuagenera and others offering rare and tropical plants.
Sunday, May 25: Our monthly Makers Market features a fresh lineup of local artists, independent brands, and creative small businesses. Come support your favorites and discover something new.
Monday, May 26: Don’t miss a special book signing with Maryland’s own plant stylist and author, Hilton Carter. Stop by to meet him and grab a signed copy of his latest work.
Food will be served up by Flavor Hive Truck, Ben and Jerry’s, and Jaliyah Coffee—come hungry. And stay hydrated with water provided by Topo Chico and Smartwater, our official watering partners.
