AUDITIONS FOR AGES 11-18
*may consider younger if parent feels the actor is ready*
Audition Schedule:
5:00 - 5:45 Dance Audition A
5:45 - 6:30 Dance Audition B
6:30 - 9:00 Group Vocal + Acting Auditions (groups of 4-5 every 15 minutes)
*all auditions will be filmed for future deliberations*
Our roles are set on a tiered system. We have done this to allow students and families to decide what works best for their commitment level and budget.

What to Expect:
Auditions will be split multiple ways. To start, we will have two groups of dance auditions. Then, actors will perform their vocal auditions and script reading for the judges in small groups. They will be scheduled in 15minute intervals. All auditionees will be given several options for their vocal audition - each will be approximately 16bars. No external songs or extended versions are permitted for auditions. Actors will also be given several options to read from sections of the script. Audition materials will be released privately to auditionees AT LEAST two weeks before auditions. (or after sign up depending on when registering)
Cast List will be released on or before Wednesday, September 1st at 6:00pm.
**Experience is not required - though casting will be based on skill level.**
Commitment Tiers:
Rehearsals will be held on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS. This program will be a total of 15 WEEKS - 4 MONTHS. Our rehearsals will run from SEPTEMBER 2nd - DECEMBER 9TH with DECEMBER 13-16 reserved for DRESS and TECH rehearsals. The performance will be held at Green High School on DECEMBER 17 + 18th, 2021. Actors cast will be expected to be available for these dates. We are allowing 4 regular rehearsal absences per actor *dress/tech rehearsals are mandatory*. If there are more schedule conflicts after the allowed 4 absences, out of respect for the rest of the cast and production team, we may have to reassess the actor’s position in the muscial. You can denote your absences in the pre-audition survey!
