Mary Lattimore and the wonderful team at Ground Control Touring have decided to present the show on December 27th as a benefit for Lamplight AVL’s Recover, Remain, and Thrive initiative.
The artists and arts organizations that make the Asheville area the special, vibrant place we call home have been deeply impacted by Hurricane Helene. Many have lost homes, studios, equipment, and livelihoods. Lamplight AVL is an Asheville-based 501c3 that supports the community through engagement with music and the arts. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to this program, which enables artists to recover, remain in the area, and continue to create the work that inspires our community. Funds are distributed directly to artists over multiple phased projects, ensuring that recovery is both immediate and foundational, and maintaining the Asheville area’s identity as an arts haven for residents and visitors alike.
