Mary Allain is a singer-songwriter based in Washington, DC creating lyrically driven folk/pop music in the vein of Maggie Rogers, Mitski, and Phoebe Bridgers. Allain’s most recent EP, “Thoughts on the Drive Home” is about returning to her Connecticut hometown and the grief, nostalgia, and liminality that comes with it.
