Hela, Goddess of the Dead, has devised a scheme to enthrall the souls of several mighty warriors to serve as generals of a great army of the dead to march against Asgard and claim the throne for herself. 2 teams, finding themselves stranded among the realm of the dead, have hatched a plan they hope will allow them to gain the attention of Heimdall, Asguard's guardian and keeper of the Bifrost, and provide them means to both escape and warn Asgard of Hela's plan. The crisis team comprises 2 players, each with a team of 15 threat. Each squad chooses 3 team tactics cards, as well as The cosmic theat player's squad consists of Hela, Goddess of the Dead. This is an Ultimate Encounter event in which teams will battle against a deadly threat in a unique narrative mission.
Participants will receive the contents of the Hel To Pay game night kit, which include: x1 Hela, Goddess of the Dead stat card with unique token, a set of tip cards for reference in playing the narrative mission, and a set of tactics cards to be used when playing as the Cosmic Threat.
Players are encouraged to bring along BOTH 15 threat worth of characters and accompanying tactics to play on the crisis team AND a Hela model to experience the mission from both sides.
