Welcome to the Marty Meyers Legacy Conference!
Professional FireFighters of Kokomo Local 396 presents the first annual Marty Myers Legacy Conference. Come join us for a day filled with inspiration, learning, and networking. Head lined by two outstanding and well respected firefighters Robert James ( Capitol Fire Training LLC) and Bobby Eckert (Eckert Fire tactics). Don't miss out on the chance to learn from two of the best the fire service has to offer. The conference will take place on Sat, February, 15, 2025 at 8:00 AM EST.
Bobby Eckert is second- generation fireman from Collingswood, NJ. Starting his fire service career in 1996. In 2006 he left for Camden, NJ fire department where he served ten years being assigned to various roles. In 2016 was promoted to Captain and is currently assigned to squad company 7. Bobby is a pro board level ll instructor and has a B.S. in Public Safety Administration who has taught many classes around the country. Currently Bobby resides in Bellmawr, NJ with his lovely wife (and co-owner) Brynlee and his four children, Bobby, Ryan, Kennedy, and Reese.
Robert James (RJ) is a 22 year vet of the fire service. Starting his career in Cromwell as a volunteer in Connecticut. RJ then moved to Maryland and before joining Frederick County Fire Department where he is currently a Lieutenant in Special Operations Command assigned to battalion 3. RJ is very decorated throughout his career and has lead many trainings for multiple department around the country.
